Details

Description Generally from the beginning of 1995 the Classification of Economic Activities, issue 1993 (WZ 93), was used to classify the economic activities of enterprises, local units and other statistical units consistently in all official statistics. From the beginning of 2003 it was replaced in this function by the Classification of Economic Activities, issue 2003 (WZ 2003).

It respects the requirements of the Statistical Classification of Economic Activities in the European Community (NACE Rev. 1), which was published in the Council Regulation (EEC) No 3037/90 of 9 October 1990 (OJ EC No L 293 p. 1) as amended by Commission Regulation (EEC) No 761/93 of 24 March 1993 (OJ EC No L 83, p. 1) and which is based on the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC Rev. 3) of the United Nations.
