Details

Description The Classification of Occupations, issue 1992 (KldB 92), is a version of the 1975 issue of the occupations classification, updated by the Federal Statistical Office. The issue 1975 itself was an amended version of the issue of 1970, the general structure remained unchanged.

Thus the elaboration of KldB 92 was carried out on the basis of a structure which was developed at the end of the 1960s. This structure was adapted to the technical and social development, to changed occupational requirement profiles, job profiles and qualification profiles, to increased professionalisation tendencies (for example in the area of social occupations), and last but not least to changed or new training regulations in the dual education system.
