Details

Description The Classification of Occupations (KldB) provides a basis for showing the occupational situation in Germany in a realistic way and to present the occupational structure in statistics and analysis adequately.

The Classification of Occupations in its version of 1988 (KldB 1988) is based on the occupations classification of 1970. This version was updated in 1975, to a large extent keeping the structure up to the three-digit level (Berufsordnungen). KldB 1988 was replaced in 2011 by the KldB 2010.
